What kind of saver is your child? One who saves happily, or with a scowl? To find out, stop by one of our branches during National Credit Union Youth Month.
Every saver is unique, but most people who save regularly developed the habit early in life. Learning to delay gratification in order to save for long‐term goals is a crucial life skill, and one that United 1st Federal Credit Union is committed to helping our youngest members develop.
That's why we at United 1st create programs and services designed specifically for young people. One of those is our Youth Month programming. We will be holding two separate contests for those ages 1-18 years old...
Give‐A‐Hoot Coloring Contest: Click here to download the coloring page or pick one up at your local branch. Return your child’s coloring page entry no later than April 28 (place their name & your contact number on the back). Each branch will judge their entries and award one lucky youth a $25 Gift Card*
Jelly Beans Contest: From April 5th through the 28th, each branch will have a jar full of jelly beans on display. Youth members may record their guess of how many jelly beans are in the jar. The youth member closest to the actual number will also win a $25 Gift Card along with the jar full of jelly beans*
*to be eligible for a prize, child must have a youth account at United 1st
By helping your child give a hoot about saving now, you’ll help them soar when they’re older!
